Welcome!
I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics of Stockholm University.
I am a development economist working on questions that connect to public and labor economics. In ongoing research, I investigate the effects of information interventions on various dimensions of human behavior, such as tax compliance and political participation, as well as labor market and health-related choices. In a separate strand of research, I study questions related to gender and female empowerment in both developed and developing countries.
I was recently awarded the International Institute of Public Finance (IIPF) Young Economist Award for my work on tax compliance and the social contract in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
